Danny Gokey "Dance Little Sister"- He had a hard time singing. Awkward moves. I agree with Simon regarding the sax.
Danny Gokey "You Are So Beautiful"- Okay vocals. He was like straining his voice actually. He pushes himself too much. Taylor did it better.
Kris Allen "Apologize"- I actually liked it, but I'd rather him do it with just the piano. I don't like the band messing with the piano stylings. Not his best, vocally.
Kris Allen "Heartless"- This was genius. One of the best performances/tweaked songs ever in American Idol. He really showed his "ARTISTRY!" Go Kris Allen.
Adam Lambert "One"- It was okay. It started good, but I think the band ruined it towards the end.
Adam Lambert "Cryin'"- I am underwhelmed with Adam right now. This was not the song I was expecting from him. What I wanted was him choosing a ballad song and not overdoing it. His first performance was the better of the two.
WHO SHOULD BE THE TOP 2
KRIS ALLEN
&
ADAM LAMBERT
Good luck guys. I hope that prediction site is sooo right. ;)

Adam Lambert "Whole Lotta Love" - What else can I say? Fantastic. And Simon was spot-on. No one else topped that performance.
Allison Iraheta "Cry Baby" - She really is a great singer. No one can ever say otherwise. I didn't care about the song choice, since it reminded me of Johnny Depp, haha.
Kris Allen "Come Together"- It was good. He doesn't have the strongest voice in the competition, but he was put together.
Danny Gokey "Dream On"- The scariest horror movie in the history of entertainment. Not only was he out of tune the whole time, HIS LAST NOTE WAS EXCRUCIATINGLY FUNNY. That was epic, epic fail.
Duets:
Adam & Allison "Slow Ride" - Now that was brilliant. I love their chemistry. Undeniably amazing. Brother and sister, aww. You could tell that they're really close.
Kris & Danny "Renegade"- Awkward. Full of awkwardness. Danny upstaged Kris because it was intentional. Kris was left hanging.
RESULTS!
They performed... good.
Paula Abdul performs... strange.
No Doubt performs... I miss No Doubt. I can't believe Gwen Stefani is 40/turning 40 years old.
Daughtry performs... not a bad song. He looks mighty similarly different... haha
Kris safe
Adam safe
Danny is unfortunately safe
ALLISON GOES HOME. =((((((((( That was one of the most disappointing moments in AI history, for me.
THEY TOOK THE SUPPOSEDLY BEST TOP 3 IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN IDOL TOP 3.
TOP 2 ADAM & KRIS, with either one winning it.

Kris "The Way You Look Tonight"- Very sweet rendition. It was obvious that he can't hit the higher notes, but his, I'm doing a Kara here, interpretation of the song was quite good.
Allison "Someone to Watch Over Me"- I really liked her voice with the song. It wasn't your typical voice like (McPhee's). I liked it very much. She has to stay until the finals. She really deserves it.
Matt "My Funny Valentine"- Melinda Doolittle and Constantine Maroulis pwned. Matt... I don't know. It was forgettable and he tries to hard to do the runs. I don't get you Simon.
Danny "Come Rain Come Shine"- It wasn't his worst performance. It was good. One of his performances that I will tolerate listening to.
Adam "Feelin` Good"- Loved the entrance, of course. I think they edited the part where he said that there's a rock edge to it. Listen again, you could hear it. Again, great vocals. I am not too keen with his ending though. He should do another "Tracks of my Tears" or "Mad World" again because those were times when he didn't do his thang.

Paula choreographs the group performance! It was pretty good. I was impressed with everyone. I think the best dancers are Adam, Matt and Lil. Kris was too adorable.
Lil is eliminated. It was time for her to go. But Paula was right, she left with a bang. She performed her last song as a contestant well.
David Archuleta performs "Touch My Hand" The song is such a girly song. Anyway, he sang it well and he was so adorable with the attempt in dancing and jumping. Haha.
Anoop is eliminated. Too bad for Anoop. He started to be an early favorite, but he became boring. I love his voice though.
The group seems really close, I like it.
THEME NEXT WEEK: Jazz: The Rat Pack.

You know that it will be a cheese-fest. Well, only about 3 performances weren't.
Lil Rounds "I'm Every Woman"- Her voice lacks so much power and depth. Her song choice was very obvious and I think it was very karaoke.
Kris Allen "She Works Hard for the Money" - I loved his song choice. The guitar intro reminded me of his Michael Jackson performance. Anyway, it was original and memorable. One of his better ones. I still think his best was "To Make You Feel My Love".
Danny Gokey "September"- I don't think his voice was brilliant. I don't know what was up with the judges. I think they are forced to say amazing comments for Danny. Funny and very irritating thing, when Simon said that his performance wasn't good, you could see his face that he disagrees so much. Eh.
Allison Iraheta "Hot Stuff" - I liked the arrangement, did not love it. Hands down the best female vocalist this season, OBVIOUSLY. Even if you place the ones who were eliminated already or belonged in the Top 36 at least, she is still the best female vocalist.
Adam Lambert "If I Can't Have You"- Another amazing performance from Adam. However it wasn't as memorable as "Mad World" and "Tracks of my Tears", it does make "Play that Funky Music" non-existent, haha. Kidding. It's not that I hated PTFM, I was just very disappointed with the song choice. What I really loved about his choice this week was he managed to surprise everyone by doing it slow. I laughed so hard when Simon said that he bet that Adam would sing a Donna Summer song. Oh and, Kara with "You look like the guy from Saturday Night Live... wuuuutttt". OH! I loved Simon's comment about his voice "IMMACULATE".
Matt Giraud "Stayin` Alive"- I don't know what to say. It was weird. It wasn't the worst, but I am guessing that after this performance he'd be in the bottom, but at least it wasn't as corny and awkward as Danny's.
Anoop Desai "Dim All the Lights"- BORING, still good voice. Nice look though.

Allison Iraheta "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing"- I still think that David Cook did a better job, in fairness to Allison, she was good. I really like the tone of her voice, I'd like to hear/see her rock out again.
Anoop Desai "Everything I Do (I'd Do It For You)"- He really has a beautiful voice. He has a potential of having a powerful singing. I do however think that it quite boring.
Adam Lambert "Born to be Wild"- Adam saves the boring night by singing this song. I find him very entertaining and just plain awesome. I don't think he's screechy, hysterical yes, but not screechy. But, to be unbiased here... it wasn't as great as "Mad World", "Tracks of my Tears", "Black or White" or even "Ring of Fire".
Matt Giraud "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman"- Very pitchy. I don't really like hearing the rest of the band playing with him. The piano solo is fine. An okay performance.
Danny Gokey "Endless Love"- The song choice is odd. I love this as a duet, and not as a solo performance. And I don't really like how he interpreted the song.
Kris Allen "Falling Slowly"- I was really excited when I read @Rickey.org that he sang this. I finally had the chance to watch his performance, and oh my, that was really flat at the beginning. It's such a hard to sing actually, very simple and monotony existed in Glen Hansard singing and the song's melody also. I commend him for choosing the beautiful song and for at least redeeming himself towards the very end.
Lil Rounds "The Rose"- I think it is the first time that I heard a ~diva~ on the Idol show (who reached at least Top 12) sing so out-of-tune. It was flat all around. I was shocked, and I think she should really sing in R&B style, without those runs. And a major turnoff, she talked backed to Simon. Wrong move dahling. I guess I can understand her feeling in a way, because she was always criticized by the judges for not picking the right song blah blah, but she shouldn't have done that.

Frankie Avalon... my mom became giddy.
Oh my, the group performance was horrible BUT Adam's fabulousness saved the day. He was so... unf. He was hot during their performance, seriously. His outfit was great, dancing and singing of course. I was so jealous with Allison. LOL

Danny Gokey "Stand By Me" - It was really bad. It was like Chikezie's rendition of "I've Just Seen a Face". The beginning part of the performance was forced and the latter one made the whole performance really terrible. I still don't get the Gokey love. I hope he doesn't take the crown because I'd think that I just waited months and months of watching AI8.
Kris Allen "All She Wants To Do Is Dance"- I felt so disappointed afterwards. It was probably his not so good performance so far. I found it weird that he made the screaming girls "his stage", it was a bit awkward to watch. Usually, I find his performances really catchy, but for this one I just stared at his adorable face. Haha.
Lil Rounds "What's Love Got To Do With It"- I feel sad for her. I thought she'd be one of the stronger contestants and that performance didn't make it come true. I agree with Simon that it was just a copy of Tina Turner's. I also loved her outfit! Awesome. Still, I always expected a powerhouse performance from her or something cool like an R&B vibe coming from her,
Anoop Desai "True Colors"- He really has a nice voice. But I don't get excited whenever he performs anymore. He was really cute when he was a baby.
Scott MacIntyre "The Search Is Over"- Guitar! Electric! Ambitious! He's such a sweetheart. It's like you never want to break his hearty heart. An awkward performance, I actually liked the fact that he used the guitar. Vocally, it was umm... not good.
Allison Iraheta "I Can't Make You Love Me"- I'll start of by saying that I still love Constantine Maroulis' performance even though Allison gave a much better vocal. Allison, allison. She isn't my favorite, but she's somewhere near there. She's the best female contestant this season. I'm a bit surprised that she wasn't trumped by Lil yet. Anyway, she's nice. I don't get it with Simon's comment on her being more likeable.
Matt Giraud "Part Time Lover"- I don't understand my views on Matt. I REALLY liked him during Hollywood auditions during "I Want You Back", but now it's like.... whaaatt... However, his performance was one of the better performances of the night. But it was a bit corny at times.
Adam Lambert "Mad World"- Dearness. It's really hard to sing a "Tears of Fears" song, trust me I tried it (HAHA, I'm such a professional singer). It's hard to pull it off. Yeah I know that the rendition came from Gary Jules who covered it and was showcased in Donnie Darko, whatever. Still, he managed to do it beautifully and he made the night NOT BORING. I just realized, after his performance, that the performances before his had similar arrangements! Call me crazy, but I think I'm not. HAHA. Anyway, the last note was petrifying. Simon giving him a standing ovation... wasn't the right time, I think I would have preferred "Tracks of my Tears" for it. I think he was in a rush to praise Adam he just stood up.

*I have been busy with school, and didn't get time to blog the results immediately.*
Group song Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' (ugh I wanted to sing that if I was in AI, I'd sing that during the finals!, LOL). The pre-recorded AND lip-synced performances are so bad. The only thing good about this performance was Adam, once again.
David Cook performs 'Come Back To Me'. He has a music video of it already, and it's much better than 'Light On'. THE KISS, nooo. :D
3 groups
1: Kris, Megan, Matt
2: Adam, Lil, Allison (Adam was such a gentleman, he held his hand for Lil!)

Matt Giraud- "Let's Get it On": Good solid performance. I like his voice.
Kris Allen- "How Sweet it Is": Another adorable and actually a very good performance from Kris! I love the fact that he's really into all of his performances. He's a hardworker.
Scott MacIntyre- "You Can't Hurry Love": He's a good pianist, not a great singer. He can sing, but I don't think he's fit for this competition. He's too safe. It was really cheesy. I can see him in the bottom
Megan Joy- "For Once in My Life": It was painful to watch and listen at the same time. I still like her though, because she doesn't come off as conceited. Bad arrangement.
Anoop Desai- "Ooh Baby Baby": He has a beautiful voice, but that was quite boring. Safe though, but boring. He should step it up. It seemed like the judges were so sure that he'd still be there next week. "You should do this next week", "Do this next week"...
Michael Sarver- "Ain't Too Proud to Beg": He tries too hard. He should stick to ballads, but then again I don't think he's a great performer/ singer.
Lil Rounds- "Heatwave": I won't deny that she a great singing voice because she really does have it. But she doesn't have the WOW factor. Her songs are too safe, she does not stand out. I think the judges really want her to shine. I do too because she seems like a really great person, and is deserving to be in AI.
Adam Lambert- "Tracks of my Tears": The best performance so far in American Idol 8, one of the best performances ever in American Idol. His voice is just amazing, I cannot believe his falsetto. I am so jealous of his voice. Interesting look Adam! I love Adam Lambert and I hope he loves me too. HAHAHAHA. No seriously, it was great. I think most haters agree with me and the rest of the GLAMBERTS. He lives up to the hype.
Danny Gokey- "Get Ready": Cheesy. Again, great singer, but too much church music director going on. I still don't get the hype.
Allison Iraheta- "Papa Was a Rolling Stone": David Hernandez's version remains to be one of my favorite performances in AI history, and Allison's does not surpass his greatness. However, she is probably the best female contest this season. She's only 16 and she can sing like she has been singing for 100 years. Hehe. It was a fantastic vocal and she deserved to be in the pimp spot.
My bottom 3:
Scott
Megan
Michael
Will be:
Scott
Megan
Michael
Out:

Michael Sarver- I don't get why this guy is still here. Sure, he has a good voice, but he is very boring. Very forgettable.
Allison Iraheta- Great energy, again. I am actually hoping that she can do a ballad or something next time.
Kris Allen- Oh dear. I absolutely loved this performance. His voice was just beautiful. It wasn't the perfect vocal, but it was definitely pure. Raw talent. That is why I admire the guy.
Lil Rounds- She was pretty good, but singing a song that was sung by Carrie Underwood amazingly, imo, is not a good thing. Carrie slayed that. Lil was making a point that she can also sing country, so shut up Randy.
Adam Lambert- HAHA. Speechless. It left me hot and heavy, and not really in a good way. I wasn't "violated" really. I felt a bit uncomfortable and well nervous when he was performing. Simon just lied! It wasn't horrible. It was different, but good. Strange, but good and interesting. I can't wait for him to sing ballads. This was not a ballad. HAHA. I still love him.
Scott MacIntyre- One word: Boring. Sorry Scottie.
Alexis Grace- I do not get the appeal of this person. I don't get her vocal ability whatsoever. She can sing, but her singing is nothing special. I think this was her worst performance so far, but I hope she won't go far. Stop trying to be "dirty".
Danny Gokey- From Hero to Zero. It was a bad performance. Stop pimping this guy. I dislike him even more. Voice : nothing special.
Anoop Desai- From Zero to Hero! Beautiful voice. See? And people say he doesn't have a good voice. He so does! Glad he picked a ballad.
Megan Joy- Much better than last week's. Still had pitch problems, but not to worry! She had the flu and she did a good job.
Matt Giraud- I love guys playing the piano/guitar. Well not all guys. Haha. I like Matt's voice, and his awesome piano playing. A potential winner, imo.
My favorites (ranked):
Kris Allen
Adam Lambert / Matt Giraud
Anoop Desai
Not so good performances (not ranked):
Scott MacIntyre
Michael Sarver
Alexis Grace
Who SHOULD be in the Bottom 3:
Alexis Grace

Who WILL be in the Bottom 3:

Who should go home:

Group performance, Jackson 5 medley- It wasn't good, it wasn't that bad either. But I cringed so hard when Danny soloed dancing. He just made me dislike him more.
Ok, the twist. The judges have the power to save the eliminated person, however they can only do this once in the season until Top 6 only. This was created to prevent the "shocker eliminations" happening (e.g: Chris Daughtry, Michael Johns, Jennifer Hudson, etc...) I hope they will choose wisely.
JASMINE MURRAY - out! Finally, but I felt really bad for her. She had to prove herself again to the judges by singing I'll Be There. It was just as bad as the previous night. Ryan asked Randy if they will be saving her. And Randy said no. Poor girl. She experienced being somewhat rejected by America and at the same time by the judges. Harsh twist.
Kanye West "Heartless"- I never liked Kanye's music, or even Kanye himself. Bad performance, lip synching at its worst. Why oh why. I would preferred "Love Lockdown" instead, because it was heard in Skins 3! Haha.
Between Anoop Desai and Jorge Nuñez
Kelly Clarkson "My Life Would Suck Without You"- She should have been the only guest! Not her best performance, but okay.
JORGE NUÑEZ- out! NOOOOO. He sings again, Simon directly says no. I hate it. He should have stayed over hmm, Michael Sarver. He is such a good singer, and seems to be a tough contender once he gets the importance of good song choices. =(
Grand Ole Opry theme next week. *Yawn*. OMG ADAM please be really really good! Enough with the super high notes for once. LET THE HATERS HEAR YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE! You will be awesome, I know it!

Lil Rounds "The Way You Make Me Feel"- Over the top singing. One of my fave MJ songs, she kinda ruined it with the singing. Not bad performance though.
Scott MacIntyre "Keep the Faith"- It was just okay.
Danny Gokey "Pretty Young Thing"- I was surprised because I didn't hate it! I don't like the dude, but his performance was good. BUT... the dancing + singing = church music director.
Michael Sarver "You Are Not Alone"- Good voice, not so good with the stage presence.
Jasmine Murray "I'll Be There"- OMG. I don't get the love from the judges! She was nasal all over. It wasn't a good vocal performance AND performance at all.
Kris Allen "Do You Remember the Time?"- Weird with the guitar. I like seeing him play the guitar though. Nice voice, IRRITATINGLY ADORABLE!!!
Allison Iraheta "Give in to Me"- As usual, great voice. The top female vocalist for me.
Anoop Desai "Beat It"- So disappointing. I didn't want to finish his performance.
Jorge Nuñez "Never Can Say Goodbye"- He sang it well. The judges just diverted him in entering the Bottom 3. Jorge >>>>> Jasmine.
Megan Joy Corkrey "Rockin' Robin"- Awkward. I still like her though. She had the poorest song choice, I feel.
Adam Lambert "Black & White"- THE BEST PERFORMANCE EVAR IN SEASON 8. Probably one of the best performances ever in the history of AI. I am not exaggerating. I don't get the hate. Haters to the farthest left. I think, after the scandal, the song is very appropriate. I think he was about to cry during Paula's comment. Other people just hate him because of his fabulousness, jealous! I don't get the hate of being too theatrical. Jeez, as if people actually watch musicals. They just hate theater.
Matt Giraud "Human Nature"- Nice performance. Didn't like his falsetto though. Would have preferred just him playing the piano, no band.
Alexis Grace "Dirty Diana"- I don't get it. I still feel she has an identity crisis. Is she good girl with awesome pipes or a bad girl with mediocre pipes. I'd like her if she was the former.

Jesse- You know, she's pretty good. She should have advanced, but someone else got in the way.
Matt- Huge improvement from his Group 2 performance. Good for him. I'm excited to see him play killer piano.
Megan- I liked her last performance better than this. She wasn't comfortable with the song I guess. Still, one of the female contestants I like.
Von- Well, he was too nervous. I thought he'd be Top 12 material since he had the publicity whatever.
Jasmine- She had the worst performance, IMO.
Ricky- I completely disagree with Simon. Ricky deserves to be in the Top 12
Tatiana- The judges tried to give her bad comments. She was actually good. Picking the same song made it easier for the judges to not advance her. How sad. Oh, LOL at her "accent", copying Jorge. Faker.
Anoop- It was so fun watching him perform. He started out flat, but he ended the song well. Yay Anoop!
Jasmine- IN (I don't know why)
Ricky- OUT (Ricky over Jasmine please)
Megan and Tatiana (Megan is in, sad for the newly "accentuated" Tatiana)
Jesse- OUT
Von- OUT

Von Smith- Very painful to watch. I thought he did better with his "pompous" performances. I thought he would be a shoo-in for the Top 12, looks like he ruined that chance.
Taylor Vaifanua- I had high expectations for this girl. I really think she picked the wrong song. It was such a bad karaoke performance.
Alex Wagner-Trugman- The growling was a bit much. It could have been good. It was awkward. Another potential Top 12 thrown under the bus. But he is still so goofy looking, dorky... still no Top 12 spot for him.
Arianna Afsar - I watched her performances on YouTube, she really can sing. I was really excited for this girl since she started to be a judge favorite during first auditions with her BailyRae song. Another painful performance, painful song. Sorry girl. The last note: OMG.
Ju'not Joyner - We need a little diversity in our current Top 12! I guess we have it right her with Joyner. Good rendition of the nthly played song of Plain White Ts. Has a good chance in entering the Top 12. But, I find him boring. Good performance, one of the better ones. From an emo band version to an RnB one. =)
Kristen McNamara - I just find her, unlikeable. I can't deny that she has good singing voice, but I just don't like & I don't know why. I guess it's because of the Hollyweed week. She was so annoying back then. Boring & forgettable. But she probably had one of the better performances. Oh the end of the performance, just ick.
Nathaniel Marshall - LOL. It was so wrong of him to choose a Meatloaf song. I occasionally see Meatloaf's video of the song and I always think that 'Meatloaf is the only one who can sing this song.... ever.' NM turned it into a disco song, ohdearmy. Certainly not his best performance. Hollywood week was much better for him. Bye bye drama queen.
Felicia Barton - She impressed me! No air time! Last minute replacement for Joanna Pacitti! Not a great performance but definitely one of the better performances.
Scott MacIntyre - I don't want to be cruel, but he wasn't good. I think I like him as a person, and not specifically a singer. He's more of an artist or a musician who writes great songs, plays the piano amazingly. But not as a frontman. He was better with his "I'm Going Home" rendition during Hollywood. I don't care whether or not he uses his blindness for votes, he seems to be genuine and I wish him all the best.
Kendall Beard - Oh dear, another wannabe Carrie Underwood. Don't they get it? Well, I hope that they can realize that no other country singer (coming from Idol) will surpass the success of Carrie. Oh yeah, the performance was just blah to me. Nothing special. It wasn't that bad, wasn't good either.
Jorge Nuñez - Yes! I was really waiting for his performance. He really has a great voice and he seems to be really into the competition. He wants this, you can see it. The tears were heartwrenching. I cried with him and Paula. (*Kara was so irritating ".. oh he's so cute!"). When he told his feelings in Spanish, I laughed and teared up at the same time. Definitely Top 12 worthy.
Lil Rounds- Wow, they really placed the most pimped up contestants last (Danny, Adam and now Lil). What a way to get the most votes, ey? Lil is a good singer, but her performance was lackluster. I think she overdid it. BUT, a good performance.
OVERALL: I was very underwhelmed generally. The weakest group.
The good performances (yeah, there was no BEST that night):
Ju'Not Joyner
Kristen MacNamara
Felicia Barton
Jorge Nuñez
Lil Rounds
Who should advance:
Felicia Barton (as the top girl)
Jorge Nuñez (as the top guy)
Ju'Not Joyner / Lil Rounds (the next highest)
Who will advance:
Lil Rounds (top girl)
Scott MacIntyre (top guy)
Ju'Not Joyner / Felicia Barton / Jorge Nuñez (the next highest)
My wildcard picks:
Jorge Nunez (I have a feeling he won't get in)
Alex Wagner-Trugman
Arianna Afsar (I think she deserves a chance.)
